Automatic Self-Cleaning Water Filter System For Agriculture Drip Irrigation System

In agricultural irrigation, the source water used may be river water, lake water, rain water, etc.

These waters often contain various particulate impurities. If they are directly applied to sprinkler irrigation and drip irrigation systems, they may block
sprinklers.

Therefore, the filtering equipment must be carefully selected according to the water source, water quality, and the size of the flow channel of the irrigator. Commonly used filters in irrigation systems include centrifugal filters, screen filters, disc filters, sand filters and so on.

Centrifugal filter：

The centrifugal filter is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation and density difference. When the water flow enters the equipment tangentially from the inlet of the desander under a certain pressure, it produces a strong rotating movement. Due to the different forces under the action of buoyancy and fluid drag, the low-density clean water rises and is discharged from the overflow port, and the dense sand is discharged from the bottom sand discharge port to achieve the purpose of sand removal. In a certain range and conditions, the higher the water inlet pressure of the desander, the higher the desander rate, and multiple units can be used in parallel.

Screen filter:

The screen filter uses a screen to filter some large particles in the water. It can be divided into manual cleaning type and
self-cleaning screen filter.
A self-cleaning strainer (or self-cleaning filter) is a type of water filter which utilizes system pressure to clean itself. Aida
self-cleaning strainers will remove unwanted particles from a water source in the 10-4,000 micron range and at flow rates ranging from 10gpm up to many thousands of gpm in large applications. They are often referred to as automatic self-cleaning strainers because unlike many systems, the technology requires no routine maintenance. In a self-cleaning strainer, basic bi-annual or annual inspection (depending on particle load) replaces the need for daily, weekly or monthly shutdowns.

Disc filter:

Sand filter:
